This is a nice resource for what has been and continues to be one of the top resources for Band and Orchestra musical instruction. Smart Music allows teachers to directly connect with the material used specifically in the classroom in regards to Method Books, basic music theory exercises and a library of contemporary literature appropriate for all grade levels.

3) http://emusician.com/
You can't talk about music technology without including information and resources on the current advancements in hardware and software from sound production to midi keyboard devices. eMusician.com is a great resource for staying current and informed about the equipment that musicians use on a daily basis in a music studio environment.
4) http://www.finalemusic.com/Blog/
If you've been teaching long enough, you know that sometimes you have to write music specifically arranged for the group of students that you are teaching. When these situations arise, it's always nice to have a reliable software package to produce the score and individual instrument parts in a timely manner. Finale is one of those software resources that gives you the full capability to write for what ever occasion. This Blog provides helpful reminders and friendly support for the "ins and outs" of even the most tricky of sheet music making tasks.
5) http://www.msbanddirector.com/profiles/blog/list
